2011 CSA Farm Partners
Every year, Local D’lish acts as a drop-off location for 1 to 3 local CSA farms. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a type of farming model where community members buy-in to a farm through a share purchase at the beginning of the season, and receive a weekly box of vegetables throughout the growing season.

A beautiful example of a typical mid-summer share.
A CSA farming model allows community members to actively support their local farmers, and for the farmers, it offers a more stable income early in the season, when the money is most needed for farm operations.
2011 CSA Farm Drop-offs at Local D’lish
Burning River Farm – Frederic, WI
* Burning River Farm is located just across the border into Wisconsin. We are familiar with Burning River Farm from their market stand at Mill City Farmers Market, and are really excited to be a drop-off site for their CSA in 2011.
2011 Urban CSA Farm Produce at Local D’lish
Growing Lots Urban Farm – Minneapolis, MN
* A new urban farm in the Seward Neighborhood of south Minneapolis! Local D’lish will be carrying produce from Growing Lots through the season, and also encourages community members to look into being a 2011 CSA member with Growing Lots Urban Farm. The only pick-up location is at the farm itself, allowing share members to literally watch their food grow over the course of the season. Check them out at www.growinglots.blogspot.com
