Welcome to Local D'Lish.  Your neighborhood general store.  Owned by Ann and Yulin Yin (and our daughter CC).  We pride ourselves on customer service.  We like to do things the way business used to be....we get to know our customers by name, we special order products with a simple phone call, we order smaller quantities to assure the freshest available....and most importantly every product in the store is grown or made right here in Minnesota and the Mid-west region.   Every purchase from Local D'Lish is helping to support our own local farmers and small businesses. 

How did we come up with this idea?  Well it is funny but we actually thought about this while we were living in China.  Every morning we would walk to the local market to purchase our meat, veggies and tofo for the day.  The market was absolutely the best part of our day.  So alive with wonderful people and the freshest veggies, meat, tofu and spices you could find.  We got to know the vendors well and we trusted where our food was coming from.  They would special cut meats for us or make a special type of tofu for us.  The food we were purchasing was incredibly fresh and healthy.   We knew we wanted this type of market here in Minneapolis.  When we returned to the states we started our journey of researching this crazy idea of a "farmers market" in a retail format.   We did a lot of foot work and have met so many wonderful people along the way.  It took us about a year to prepare and here we are.  The store is a dream come true for our family and we genuinely appreciate your business.  We strive to offer you the best products that Minnesota and the "heartland" has to offer.
